It's Naomi and Sophie here, and in this episode, we're diving headfirst into our October competition wins. It's been a month of highs and lows, exciting travels, and a few comping challenges. Let's get started!
Bali Bliss (and Bali Belly!)
October was a special month for Naomi, as she finally got to enjoy the incredible prize trip she won back in January for her 40th birthday – a week in beautiful Bali! The hotel was an absolute dream, the weather was perfect, and we explored stunning temples, relaxed on gorgeous beaches, and even went whitewater rafting with a volcano backdrop.
Top tip for Bali travelers: Hire a driver! Traffic is chaotic, so having someone navigate the roads for you is a lifesaver. We explored popular tourist spots like Ubud and the monkey sanctuary, but our driver also took us off the beaten path to experience the true heart of Bali with its rice fields and majestic mountains.
Unfortunately, paradise came with a side of Bali belly. Let's just say the flight from Bali to Hong Kong was an experience she won't soon forget (and might just share on a future radio entry!)
Hong Kong Highlights
To make the most of our long journey, we added a five-night stay in Hong Kong on our way back to the UK. It's been a fantastic experience so far, with delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere.

Comping Challenges
We also discussed the challenges of balancing comping with life's other demands. Sometimes it's important to take a break and recharge, especially during busy periods. Plus, with the ever-changing landscape of social media, we're facing new hurdles like Instagram suspensions.
